Cancellation Policy

1. Scope of Services Consultant shall provide consulting sessions and editing services for submitted documents relevant to the completion of essays for the purpose of college admissions applications. All of the scope details below are agreed upon between the Parties. Document services will include: • Structural design tasks related to college essay document outline and structure (including reorganization of subheadings, advice regarding order of content/ideas, etc.) • Correcting for spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, capitalization, typographical errors. • Improving sentence structure, word choice, and readability while preserving the author’s meaning and academic voice. Excluded document services are as follows: • Formatting the document for institutional submission purposes. • Submission to online admissions and university portals for admission purposes. • Substantive content editing including but not limited to significant restructuring of arguments or content, or rewriting large sections (meaning, I will not rewrite sections beyond one sentence in length each). • Plagiarism checking. • Fact checking, including assessing accuracy of research claims, statistical data, or citations. Consulting sessions will include: • Writing, academic, and/or professional guidance and feedback. • Coaching on strategic design of written materials, and writing structure and organization. • Coaching on time scheduling and timeline structuring matters. 2. Fees and Payment • Fees paid with credit card will be subject to an additional fee of 3%. • Payments that are more than 7 days late may incur interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowable by law. • Consultant reserves the right to suspend Services if payment is overdue or if Client fails to provide necessary cooperation or materials. • Consultant reserves the right to suspend Services if payment is overdue or if Client fails to provide necessary cooperation or materials. • Services canceled by Client via written notice (email) at least 1 week prior to the scheduled start date will be refunded in full. • Services canceled by Client within one (1) week of the scheduled start date will be refunded at fifty percent (50%) of the amount paid. • Client may request to pause Services with a minimum of one (1) week’s prior written notice. 3. Work Product and Use Client shall be solely responsible for the use and application of any Consultation Work Product in academic, professional, financial, or publish
